Victor de la Parte, who started his professional career with a CCC-sponsored team in 2016, will head into his fourth year in the WorldTour in 2020 as he starts his second season with CCC Team.

The Spanish rider gained recognition after winning two stages and the overall General Classification at the 2015 Tour of Austria while racing at Continental level and since then, de la Parte has continued to impress with some solid performances in stage races and time trials while at UCI WorldTour level. In 2019, the Spanish rider showed his motivation and determination, coming back from a fractured scapula to secure third overall on the General Classification at CRO Tour.

I knew I wanted to be a professional cyclist when…

I only started cycling when I was 21 and before that I was working in factory but I always knew I wanted to do something more and once I started cycling, that was it.

My greatest racing memory is…

When I won the Tour of Austria and my family and my girlfriend were there to celebrate with me. That was a really big moment.

The race I dream of winning is…

The Giro d’Italia

If I wasn’t a professional cyclist, I would be…

I think maybe I would have liked to have been a teacher.
