Itzulia Basque Country proved once again that there is never an easy moment at the race, drawing to a close with a short but intense battle in the mountains around Eibar which saw Alessandro De Marchi honoring the red and white polka dots and Víctor de la Parte moving up into 15th place overall at the end of the day.
