CCC Team Cookbook: Stewed Lentils

Stewed Lentils

Ingredients (eight servings)

Lentils (600 grams)

Two carrots

One white onion

One bay leaf

Vegetal broth (600 milliliters)

One garlic glove

Oil, salt and pepper


  • Mince garlic, carrots, and onion
  • Wash the lentils in cold water

  • Add a little bit of oil in a pot and brown the vegetables
  • Add the lentils and a pinch of salt and pepper and stir
  • Add the vegetal broth, stir and cover the pot. Cook the lentils at least for forty minutes
  • Test the lentils before serving and add salt and pepper if necessary
